CSA (Customer Service Attendant)
This is our entry position with customer service the
main emphasis. Our CSA's bag groceries, round up carts,
keep our front end clean, assist our customers in the
store and in the lot. You must be able to provide customer
service with a smile.
Cashier
Everyone knows what this person does but few realize how complex the
job really is. Cashiers work
at a checkstand calculating how much a customer owes and collecting
payment. Our scanning equipment
registers most of the prices but the cashier still must know the
products and the codes. Accepting
payment can be by cash, check, credit card, debit card (with cash
returned), food stamps and more. Landis
Market's legendary service means performing this job quickly and

Deli
Clerk
Taking and filling customer orders, preparing party
trays, prepping and serving salads are all part of
the job. Filling customer orders with a smile, paying
attention to detail while making sure our standards
of sanitation are followed are all part of the job.
Food
Service Positions
Our production clerks work in Bakery, Pizza/Sandwich
and Salad Bar preparing and serving our food to go
(or to eat in the store where we have a dining area).
Our clerks pan muffins, make sandwiches, bake pizza,
fry chicken and stock the salad bar. We will train
but prior experience baking, cake decorating, working
a grill or fryer, preparing vegetables and making
sandwiches or pizza is helpful.
Meat/Seafood
Positions
Package meat and poultry, service the seafood case
and help our customers with their selections. We
will train for this position with lots of customer
contact and production responsibilities but experience
is helpful.
Produce/Floral
Clerk
Bananas, apples, potatoes and tomatoes move through
our stores in tremendous quantities. Preparing the
produce, rotating the stock and arranging our attractive
produce displays is all included. Our clerks keep
only the freshest product on our shelves while helping
our customers with their selections.
Grocery
Clerk
Salsa and rice, tomato juice and diapers, frozen
french fries and cottage cheese all need to be put
on the shelves, in the freezer cases or dairy product
displays. Our clerks keep our displays looking good
(and the price information in the right place) while
checking to make sure our products are not out of
date. Customers are never an interruption. When
they need something we take them to it!
Night
Crew Clerk
For the night owl, this full time job starts in the
late evening. Our products are delivered to the store
every evening for our night crew to unload, separate
and put up on the shelves. There is a lot of satisfaction
in this physically demanding job at the end of the night when the store
looks great.
